Janssen is active not only in the area of human medicine, but also in the development, production and marketing of veterinary products. These activities are carried out by Janssen Animal Health, a company that is headquartered in Beerse and assures its own R&D, Development, Sales & Marketing Activities and Distribution.
The primary focus of Janssen Animal Health is on veterinary products for treating worms, coccidiosis and fungi in companion animals and livestock. In the past decades, this division, which has by now developed into a fully-fledged company, has established and reinforced its reputation as a discoverer and distributor of innovative veterinary products. For the most part, the active ingredients of Janssen’s veterinary products come from its own research laboratories.
