Our commitment to the treatment of allergies
Our scientists have a long history of research into allergic reactions.

Early developments in the treatment of allergies
Several outstanding antiallergic drugs have emerged from the laboratories of the Janssen Research Foundation.

Research TINSET™ (oxatomide) was the first antiallergic drug to be developed by the company in the 1970s.

Recent developments in the treatment of allergies

LIVOSTIN™ (levocabastine) is our newest drug for the treatment of allergies. Chemically it is a very original antihistamine and it acts at a lower dose than any other of these drugs. It is used as a nasal spray and eye drops in the treatment of allergic rhinitis.
